Horses already know what to do
and how to do it,
we have to know how to ask.

"...and about Natural Horsemanship.....
the words have been misinterpreted to be associated
with gimmicks, salesmanship and a quick fix......
to me True Horsemanship is all about communication
between human and horse, unspoken, yet very tangible."
Jeff

The picture above is of myself and two friends working cattle.
Human and horse, predator and prey, working together doing a job.
That is Horsemanship.

"...I work horses so they understand
what people are asking of them..."

My ultimate goal is not to have the horse working only for me but that the transition from me to you to your horse is a smooth one.

There is no set rule, plan, agenda or guideline. We have to adapt to the horse as they are as individual as we are. What works for one may not work for another. We are after all asking the horse to perform in our world he did not invite us into his, so we have to make some changes.

The riding starts even before the
halter is put on

Horses already know what to do.
To understand the horse
is to know how to ask.
