The BLM has roughly +/- 15000 mustangs in their designated government holding pens and what they call "sanctuaries". These horses are waiting to be adopted out, placed or are "returns" from the public. Some have been waiting for years.
The BLM's inept and unprofessional behavior for these horses gives me cause to be concerned about their agenda. "Save the Mustang", I don't think so. The BLM does not run their program at all and is confused as to who is in charge and who is the decision maker.
The problem exist and although they have been offered alternative workable and viable solutions/programs, they proceed status quo.
15000 head captured for their own "safety" and adoption and they are still gathering ????

Why has the BLM lost that vision or have they ever had it? Is the fate of the mustang a fate of the american people? Is this how we see ourselves taking care of our own? When will the BLM manifest this vision they speak of? What exactly is the BLM's policy or protocol? Or do they have any? I do not imagine they will unless we intercede!
I am very familiar with what I am writing
here as I have had dealings with the BLM
and I can tell you that there is something
definitely wrong with the program.
I hope that the Spirit
does not get eradicated
from our land and our hearts.
